n the summer of 2003, Mike Pennington and Kazim Mohammed began to realize after over fifteen years of working together in the commercial landscape trade they needed something more. For many years they had worked side by side at companies like Labelle Limited, Future Built Construction and Lakeridge Contracting. During this time they had worked on and managed some of the largest landscape contracts in Ontario. But what was missing? Both of them came to the realization that they needed a change. Quickly they decided that residential landscape contracting would provide the change they were looking for.

In March of 2004 the idea became a reality as Holman Landscape Restoration was formed. From the beginning, Mike and Kaz created a few policies that would set the new company out from the crowd. Most notably is our no deposit policy. Another important part of the success of the company would depend on the staff. We only employ experienced personnel. Mike and Kaz knew they could only maintain the quality and integrity of the company if the best people were in place.

Throughout the seasons since that humble beginning, Holman has grown in leaps and bounds. Today Holman Landscape Restoration is a force to be reckoned with in Durham Region and the G.T.A. Holman’s emphasis on customer service and total client satisfaction has created a family of clients that grows each season.
